Text Messaging Program

How text messaging from Allure MD Plastic Surgery + Dermatology works — what we send, how you opt in, and how to stop at any time.

What we send

Allure MD Plastic Surgery + Dermatology operates two separate text message programs. You can be enrolled in one without being enrolled in the other.

Appointment & account messages

One-time verification codes, appointment reminders, booking confirmations and updates, and replies from our staff about your care. These are sent only to patients who have given us their mobile number for this purpose.

Sample: “Allure MD: Your verification code is 123456. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Sample: “Allure MD: Reminder — your appointment is Tue Mar 4 at 2:00 PM at 1441 Avocado Ave #708, Newport Beach. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Marketing messages

Occasional promotions, events, and practice updates. These are sent only if you separately opt in to marketing texts. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any treatment or service.

Sample: “Allure MD: Our spring skincare event is May 3. Reserve your spot: allure-md.com/book. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

How you opt in

We only text mobile numbers that were given to us directly by the person who owns them. We never buy, rent, or otherwise obtain phone numbers from third parties or lead generators. These are all the ways you can opt in:

  • Online booking — you enter your mobile number at allure-md.com/book to request an appointment. The consent language below is shown on screen, next to the field where you enter your number, before you submit it. We then send a one-time verification code to confirm the number is yours.
  • In person or by phone — you give your mobile number to our staff at the office or during a phone call and tell us you would like appointment texts. Staff record that consent on your patient record.

Marketing texts are a separate program: you only receive them if you separately agree to marketing messages, and declining them does not affect your appointment messages or your care.

Consent language shown at online opt-in: “By continuing, you agree to receive appointment-related text messages from Allure MD at the number provided (verification code, reminders, and booking updates). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.”

Frequency, rates, and stopping messages

Message frequency varies and depends on your appointments and your preferences. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To stop: reply STOP to any message from that program and you will receive no further messages from it. Reply START to resubscribe. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop your appointment messages, and opting out of appointment messages does not stop marketing messages — the two programs are managed separately.

For help: reply HELP to any message, call 949-706-7874, or email office@allure-md.com.

Your mobile information

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text message services that enable delivery of our messages.
